Dr Ada is recognised as an expert in complex coronary stenting procedures, including challenging cases, patients turned down from bypass (CABG) and chronically occluded vessels (CTO). He has particular expertise in precise, personalised stent insertion using intravascular imaging (IVUS and OCT), and is considered one of Australia’s leading authorities in this field. 

Academic and Teaching Roles
In addition to clinical practice, Dr Ada is actively involved in teaching and research. He lectures to cardiologists both locally and internationally, with teaching focused on complex PCI, microvascular dysfunction, and advanced intracoronary imaging techniques.

Training and Education
Born in Sydney, Dr Cuneyt Ada completed a Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Sydney. He undertook his basic physician training at Concord Hospital, followed by advanced cardiology training at Westmead Hospital. Dr Ada went on to complete a PhD in coronary physiology at Concord Hospital (University of Sydney) and later undertook an overseas fellowship in Complex Coronary Intervention with Professor Scott Harding in Wellington, New Zealand.
